Baby Gaga, The Organic Ice-Cream

My friends say,
"How can u ever say no to choclate Ice-cream?"
Who doesn't love ice-cream!!

You don't ?? :-o  Get off my blog.!!

Just kiddin' even if you don't, just continue reading, chances are you will change your opinion.

When a well stocked ice-cream parlor says it sells every flavor, there usually are limits, but 'Icecreamists' a parlor based in Covent Garden, London seems to have taken 'every flavor' a bit too seriously. They are offering 'Baby Gaga'.

What is it? It's an Ice-cream. Not just any other ice-cream, Matt o' Connor, the founder of Icecreamists says "No-one has done anything interesting with ice-creams in the last hundred years, this is a revolution."

Notice the bottle there?

Baby Gaga is an ice-cream made of breast milk.
Yes! you read it right. :P

The recipe blends breast milk with Madagascan vanilla, and lemon zest, which is freshly churned into ice-cream.

The milk was provided by mothers who came forward as a result of an advertisement on Mumsnet, an online forum for new moms.

Victoria Hiley, a 35 year old mother of one, from Leeds provided the first 30 ounces of milk, which was enough to make the first 50 servings of the mouth-watering dish. There were 13 other women who gave there valuable contributions. :P

The company is giving 15 pounds to women for every 10 ounces extracted using breast pumps. Now that, is serious gender discrimination.

Victoria says, "What's the harm in using my assets for a bit of extra cash?", we say, none at all lady, none at all, :P

Ms Hiley adds " I saw the advert offering women money for their milk, I thought it was fake, there were so many comments and people were having debate over whether it is genuine, so I decided to find out."
(Now I think I need to put up adverts for all my needs. :P)

Excerpts from her interview,

Ms Hiley and tools of the trade.
"It is very nice it really melts in the mouth. I teach women how to get started on breast feeding their babies. There's very little support for women and every little helps."

"I'm passionate about the good that breast feeding does for babies."

"I believe if adults realize how tasty breast milk actually is, new mothers will be more willing to breast feed there own newborns."

I completely agree, it is all about adults enjoying infancy. :P

Ok, so let me tell you a few health benefits of the extra-ordinary ice-cream.

The milk in question is the perfect first food, designed by nature to nourish human babies. It has just the right amount of everything that human babies need to thrive. Cow's milk is for cows! :P

It raises IQ. Don't ask me how.

As Hiley said it tastes great. That's why we love them. I meant ice-creams.

So, How do you get served? I would say, very tastefully. The Matt o' Connor has taken care of all the intricacies of pleasing a guest.

A costumed Baby Gaga waitress serves the ice cream in a martini glass filled with the breast milk ice cream mix. Liquid nitrogen is then poured into the glass through a syringe and it is served with a rusk.

It can also be served with whisky or another cocktail on request.

Matt o' Conner, enjoying his waitress and the Ice-cream.
Well unfortunately it's just available in Vanilla, and my friends prefer chocolate. They say, "Who eats vanilla these days, except, if its served with coffee at Cafe Coffee Day's"

What do you have to do to donate the raw material? Well, you need to go through a blood test, to know about any diseases you might have. To maintain the highest standards, health checks for each lactating woman were the same used by the UK's National Health Service to screen blood donors.

And also you being a woman will help. :P
Infancy for all ages.

What do you have to do to get that? Nothing much, you need to shell out, 14 pounds per serving, that is approximately 23 $ or 2000 Rupees.

Not a big price to pay to enjoy infancy once again, is it?

Connor is confident his new ice cream will go down well with the paying public.

'The Baby Gaga tastes creamy and rich. No-one's done anything interesting with ice cream in the last hundred years,' he said.

'We've came up with a method of infusing ice-cream with breast milk. We wanted to completely reinvent it.'

'And by using breast milk we've definitely given it a one hundred percent makeover. We want to change the way people think about ice cream. Some people will hear about it and go, 'yuck' but actually it's pure, organic, free-range and totally natural, I had a Baby Gaga just this morning and I feel great.'

According to him it is just one of the radical flavors launched by them.
I wonder what's next?

This is just one of those umpteen innovative business ideas to make money!! If at all it were to be even tried in India, I am sure all the Indian women would get together and kill the business venture the day it is launched(and dont forget the Bajrang Dal)!!!! :P

But it sure does sound tempting. :)

That's the reaction we got from 'Breast-feeded Babies' Ascociation'
'.
